ArduinoCore-zephyr 0.90.0 Becomes Stable and Expands Board Support

EDITOR BRIEF

ArduinoCore-zephyr version 0.90.0 is now marked stable after leaving beta. The update starts deprecating older mbedOS-based cores, while adding support for the Nano RP2040 Connect, native SD card support on Portenta H7 and C33, and PDM library support on Nano 33 BLE. It also adds automatic loader and sketch syncing during uploads.

INSIGHTS

If you learn embedded coding, this shows how a platform can move from old frameworks to a newer one. A good next step is to test an existing sketch on Zephyr and see how board support and uploads differ from the legacy core.
