Typically, a carousel consists of the following elements:

  • Slide: A slide holds the images or content items displayed in the carousel. Each slide may include additional information like a title, description, and link.

  • Previous/Next Buttons: These buttons allow users to navigate to the previous or next slide. Clicking the previous button moves to the previous slide, while the next button advances to the next slide.

  • Indicator: This is a dot or bar that shows the position of the currently displayed item. By clicking an indicator, users can jump to a specific item, making it easy to see which slide is currently being viewed.

A carousel is composed of multiple images or content slides. Depending on its configuration, it can automatically transition to the next slide after a set amount of time, or users can manually move slides using the indicators and previous/next buttons.
